They like us, they really like us!

So MTV may keep looking over the greatest city in the world, but not the ladies at The View. They are having a contest to broadcast a show live from an American hometown and Austin is in the running as one of the 15 top contenders. They will eventually narrow it down to 4 and then the winner, but it is noce to know that of all of the places entered, Austin is in the top.

(Side note: My real hometown of Georgetown, Texas also sent in a tape, so my mom says. We'll have to wait and see if they pick that one too...)
